Small Steps Nursery and Kindergarten

Our curriculum is a continuous learning process which empowers children to think independently, logically and responsibly.

Small steps offers a developmentally appropriate, balanced approach to education. It weaves academics with arts, enriching both, and creating life long learners. The curriculum for kindergarten moves from imagination & movement in early childhood through increasingthe academies& artistically created lessons in the lower grades. To summarize a Kindergartener at small is a life long curious learner, who has learnt experiantially and empowered with reading, writing and exxpressions to take up the challenges in the further schooling confidentally.

Our pre - Pre Primary curriculum consists of languages, math, skills, Oral and aural skills, drawing and creativity, games and exercises. At the Elementary school, year by year the curriculum expands with maturing child, matching themes that mirrors the child's inner development with skills, knowledge & modes of expression appropriate to this age.

The Elementary Learning centre runs on an open school concept where in the centre is not affiliated to any board. The C.B.S.E textbooks are used as a guideline with an intigrated approach to learning for a hostile development.

The school's efforts in making learning meaningful & interesting is seen in the various field trips, activities, games, puzzles etc.

Playgroup - 2 years complete

Nursery - 3 years complete

KG 1. - 4 years complete

KG 2. - 5 years complete

Grade 1 - 6 years complete

Grade 2 - 7 years complete

Children shall be be observed and assessed for age appropriate development and will be granted admission accordingly.

No, There are no offical tie ups but excellent performancesof the students we make our students readily accountable everywhere. The school, Nursery and Kindergaten is a 14 year old school. Confident students are a result of right efforts nurturing values etc.

Office timings (only on weekdays) - 9:30 am to 2:00 pm

Kindergarten students -

9:30 am to 12:45 pm

Primary school -

12:00pm to 4:00pm

Above timings for Kindergarten & primary is for offline school. Regular classes are conducted online following Covid - 19 norms.

We believe in inclusive education and a few students with mild symptoms are accommodated on submission of test reports & approval by councillors.

8:1. For every 8 students we have 1 teacher which is an excellent ratio allowing personalised attention to every child.

The intake of each class is 15 students. Admissions are granted on a first come first serve basis after assessment of the ward and interview of the parents.

Mid term admissions are granted only to genuine cases of transfer upon assessment of the student.
